
Bob Coelln’s call went silent on November 24, 2025. He was 81. Bob was born in Davenport Iowa. He was in the Army during the Vietnam War, specializing in signals, communications, and electronic intelligence.
After his military service, Bob moved to Dallas where he was a buyer for Rockwell Collins and Texas Instruments. He earned a master’s degree in marketing and economics from North Texas State University in Denton. He co-founded Pro-Comp Sales, an electronic components company, and retired soon after selling the business in 2005.
Bob was a long-time member of RWK and was active until shortly before his death.
