The Broadcast Engineer Today
Commercial broadcasting is 100 years old this year. Today, the same AM standard still exists with all digital AM on the horizon. This presentation will provide a brief history of the evolution of broadcast technology and focus upon the technology today found in the radio or TV broadcast landscape. The impact of regulatory action can’t be ignored as well as the impact of competing technology such as the Internet.
