General Meeting – January 2026 – 3rd Party Communications

January is Radio History month for RWK and this month we’re going to talk about 3^rd Party Communications. Before the days of cell phones and the internet and free long distance, it was a lot more difficult and expensive to talk and send messages (for everyone but hams). We’re going to explain 3^rd Party Communications for ham radio and how it was a much bigger deal before the world was instantly connected.
