General Meeting – December 2025 – RWK Holiday Meeting

On December 8th, we had our annual Holiday Meeting, now with pizza and desserts and lots of prizes and a short wrap-up of RWK for 2025. We had a new version of our prior years’ popular RWK Ham Trivia contest. The foxhunt prizes for 2025 (who is going to receive this year’s Golden Fox??) were presented and we highlighted some of the major activities of 2025, including Field Day and several High-Altitude Balloon launches. Lots of pizza and desserts were consumed. We also included some funny and serious RWK awards.

Our door prize list this year is outstanding – the total value is somewhere above $3500!  We have multiple prizes valued over $100 and several over $200.  You will want to buy extra tickets to increase your chances of winning.  As Andrew says, “Bring your $20 bills” as we expect to sell lots of tickets.  The prize list includes things like MFJ Antenna Tuners, Power Supplies, QRP radios, Bearcat scanners, and even high-dollar Radar/Laser Detectors (courtesy of Uniden).  For those that have missed recent door prizes, you can “bid” on the prizes that you want to win by depositing a ticket in the container for that prize. The winner of that prize will be selected from only the tickets in that container.
